About OneRelief
Our story begins with one man. For most of his life, he spent his time giving back. Always being the helping hand and the shoulder to cry on for those in need. His ability to put others’ needs above his own, has always been remarkable. It was this deep desire and sense of compassion he felt towards those less fortunate, that truly empowered him.
He always believed that the only way one can rise is by lifting others. He did the biggest part of his volunteer work and service off the books, gaining almost no recognition for it. But this never phased him. Because it wasn’t for anything else, other than the smiles and appreciation of those who he helped, that brought him the truest satisfaction. He’s a familiar face to those in need. Truly a man of the people, not above- but equal. He soon began to lose track of all the lives he was able to make a difference in. Touching people’s hearts through his generosity became a lifestyle for him.
He spent many, many years giving. Soon he was an old man who had a community of people to help, he was a father to many and a brother to all. No matter what struggle he faced, he never gave up hope. He always believed that one kind act would create a series of life changes. Soon his efforts alone weren’t enough to sustain the entire community. But he was never one to back down from a challenge, especially one which could make a difference in countless lives. He dreamed even bigger than before and the vision of a community of people who came together to change lives dawned on him. He then reached out to those just like him, those kind-hearted people who put others above themselves.
He was then able to create a bridge – between those in need and those who give. This was the birth of One Relief. Through this organization, he and others are able to give, support and change the lives of countless people. One Relief consists of a community of generosity. The sponsors and donors of this charity are some of the most selfless people you’ll ever meet. Together, they have raised up many people. And to think it all started with just one kind man. By instilling the core principles of kindness, generosity and selflessness in the very foundation of One Relief, our founder has built something set for life.
Through one man’s giving heart, countless amounts people’s lives are forever changed. We at One Relief, exist because of one man’s kind heart and we are convinced that there are many others out there.
